Week 4 Reflection: What's the Plan

This week in class we had time to listen to each group present their progress, as well as, have the opportunity to see each blog. A lot of groups have gotten the opportunity to work with and visit the sites that they are writing their blogs on. We saw people work with a local group in Newark to create a common site for the community that is environmentally friendly. Another group was partaking in trying to impose a green initiative on our campus and seeing how we can reduce our waste on campus and within the community. Another group is working with the South Mountain reservation. A lot is happening within the class and people are doing different things, so it was quite exciting to see what my peers are up to!

We are changing our goal for our project. We may not be able to have a Pfeiffer representative come and teach a class since they are also busy. But we will work with them and learn from them so we could possibly bring the strategies back to our campus. We may start off small with the greenhouse and then expand. Either way we will be making progress in the best way possible!

This week we FINALLY visit the Pfeiffer Center! My group and I are so excited to venture up there and make the best of our visit, as well as, to learn as much as we possibly can from these knowledge experts!
